A recent study showed that 7,000 American head injuries on the ski slopes could have been totally prevented had the person been wearing a simple helmet while skiing.
Since kids are so valuable and more fragile than adults, it is even more important to use youth ski helmets. Protecting their heads and necks is crucial to protecting their lives as well. As parents, we must do all that we can do to make sure that they have all of the equipment they need to stay safe on the ski slopes. It is a very simple, yet life saving thing that you can do!
With more and more youths going skiing or snowboarding and the new equipment that allows them to go faster and take more chances the most important piece of ski equipment a person can have is a ski helmet.
